The Something Borrowed service is a jewellery hire programme that allows you to rent pieces from Garrard's iconic collections for special occasions, most notably weddings. The service takes its name from the beloved and long-standing wedding tradition of a bride wearing "something borrowed" on her wedding day, which is said to bring good luck and symbolise the love and support of friends and family. By offering access to Garrard's exquisite fine jewellery on a hire basis, the service makes it possible for brides and other customers to wear truly exceptional creations, made by the world’s oldest serving jewellery house.

Yes. All pieces from the Something Borrowed hire collection can be purchased after hire. Please contact the Garrard Client Care team to find out more. £75 is redeemable for purchases against the rental fee.
Prices are costed on a 4-day rental term, starting from £250 for diamond earrings and reaching £2,500 for real diamond tiaras. Please view the listing for each piece for exact prices or contact the Garrard Client Care team who will be more than happy to assist you. Please note, a deposit is required for 15% of an individual piece’s retail value (RRP).
Jewellery is rented on a 4-day term, with the ability to extend. Please contact the Garrard Client Care team who will be able to accommodate any requests you may have and come back to you with pricing.
