The House of Garrard has designed many of the world’s most iconic trophies. Each design captures the honour of taking part and the glory of winning.
A regal heritage
From the medals worn proudly by winners and participants at the Invictus Games to the Gold Cup presented by HRH Queen Elizabeth II at Royal Ascot, throughout the years, the House of Garrard has had the honour of working closely with the British royal family and currently holds a Royal Warrant as Jewellers, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, appointed by HRH The Prince of Wales.
The very first Gold Cup was made by Garrard in 1842. The House then continued to supply Royal Ascot trophies through its 164 years as Crown Jeweller, returning to the commission in recent years. While technical brilliance unites the designs, tastes have changed. From Queen Victoria’s love of mythical statuettes to today’s more classically elegant cups, Garrard has mastered them all.
For centuries, individuals and organisations have turned to Garrard to capture the pride and glory of that moment in gold or silver. From yachting’s America’s Cup to football’s Premier League trophy then the Invictus games founded by HRH Prince Harry, many of the world’s most iconic symbols of victory began their life in the House studio.
